I´ve discovered this great artist Melissa Anne Carrol. She is strugling with cancer but she has the same dream as I have and that is going to India. NEW BEANIES

I´m so excited, because I´ve been doing a lot of crochet and making beanies and bags to sell for a coming christmas fair. It is a lot of fun to do. When I start a beanie, I´m already thinking of the result and of the color combination for the next beanie. It´s kind of adictive. Today I´m gonna start making a rainbow color bag, I´m quite excited because I think the result will look great. If you wan´t to buy one of my beanies, you can go to my Etsy page HERE.

THE STORY OF SINTERKLAAS

The other day I received a package in the post from holland, from my dearrest mom, for the Sinterklaas celebrations.
Today it is Sinterklaas his birthday, so whole Netherlands will be celebrating it!

Sinterklaas is a tipical dutch celebration for the kids (but adults love it to!). The kids before going to bed, put there shoe next to the fireplace. In the shoe there´s a wishlist of all of there favorite toys they want and a carrot or some straw inside it, and also a bowl of water for the horse of Sinterklaas. Then they sing a tipical Sinterklaas song and go to bed, imagining what they will get the next day and if they will get anything, because you´ll had to be good this year to get something! The next day the kids go and see if they got something, and normally there´s a little present like a chocolate letter of there name, or little chocolates and a little toy.

Then the 5th and 6th of December it is Sinterklaa´s his birthday, so on this day the whole family gets together and give presents to each other, specially to the kids. It is funny, because the tipical jute bag with the presents is left behind in front of the door where the family is celebrating. Somebody suddenly knocks on the door, this is suppose to be Sinterklaas (but normally it´s the neighboor), the kids get all excited and go and see if Sinterklaas is still there, so they open the door but nobody is there except for the big bag full of presents. I remember celebrating this with my family and it was always a lot of fun!

Tipical chocolate letters and the bag on the right is full with tipical "pepernoten", these are little spiced cookies.

 Isn´t this chocolate letter just georgeos? It is the most beautiful letter I have ever received.

Look out! The chocolate mice are eating my chocolate letter!



LEATHER BAG

The other day my boyfriend and me were walking around my village and we found the most cuttest shop with great things, such as semi-precious stones, tea pots, tea and coffee and this beautiful leather bag!

Today he came home from work and guess what!? He brought me the bag! Wauw how lucky am I!? I´m soooo pleased and in love with it, it is just beautiful and I´m gonna use it a lot!

WORKING LATE

Here you can see my table full of things! I´m making some mandala postcards wich I wanna sell later in my etsy shop. Have been busy with the crochet also, but only when I´ve got things ready, I´ll be putting it in my shop.

 



CROCHET

I´m totally into crochet right now! I´ve found this thick cotton dread in beautiful colores and started to crochet a turqoise hippie bag for myself. I liked it so much, that I´m going to be selling, on my etsy shop, some of these beautiful bags and also bonnet in lovely colores. So keep tunned and soon you will be able to buy one of these bags for yourself!

 These bags are not totally finished yet, I´m going to put some nice fabric inside and hang a tassel on the bottom.

 





VULTURE

This beautiful vulture is sitting in the tree just next to my house. It planned to stay the night here, so I hope to see it tomorrow at the same place. I can peek out of my bedroom window to see if it will still be there when I wake up.

Lucky me to have such a beautiful animal living here!

Today on Halloween my dog Samson turns four years old. It was four years ago that he was born in Ruigoord, a squadded village near Amsterdam.

NEW FUJIFILM CAMERA

I finally bought my new camera, the Fujifilm S 24x. I actually did a very good buy, I got mine for only 179.90€, comparing with other country´s where I have seen my camera for more ten or twenty euros. I bought my one in France.

I´ll be taking and sharing a lot of new pictures soon and I think I´m going to create a new blog with only Panorama pictures. I´ve discovered this function on my camera and I´m having a lot of fun with it, taking Panorama pictures in different angles is a lot of fun!

Now I wanted to ask YOU, what do you think about a new blog with only Panorama pictures???
